There´s a lot of benefits that barranquilla could get through Barranquilla as the capital of culture, Xavier Tuleda Bureau´s president said "For the city's clear commitment to make culture a strategic element of social cohesion, civic revitalization, economic development and international promotion,"
'Happy city' is Barranquilla's new tagline and it is right. We can see it everywhere, people are working and they are happy, people are with their families and they are happy, people are doing anything and they are happy, and that is because of our culture. We were born in this magical place where we can be whoever we want and people still love us, and carnival is the most important example of that. And now we are the Cultural Capital and being name that will open new doors in tourism, civic and economic development. And that's why I agree with you.
